Can you guarantee that my candy will arrive in perfect condition?

All candy that leaves our temperature-controlled facility is inspected and verified to be in perfect condition.  Despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee that your candy will arrive in perfect condition and cannot issue refunds or replace products damaged by extreme temperatures. If you want the best chances of receiving your product in excellent condition, we add a warm-weather shipping box to protect your product.

When is candy shipped?

In April, May, June, July, August, and September, we ship Monday through Wednesday to limit time in transit so that your order doesn't sit over the weekend in a non-air-conditioned environment.

Will perishable candy last more than 2 days in transit?

Through years of careful observation, we conclude that perishable candies, such as chocolate won't make it past 2 days and if left outside even one day in hot weather unfortunately it won't last a day. Trust us! With weather changes, we urge you to select the overnight shipping option. In some areas, your shopping cart will default to overnight.

Please choose the appropriate shipping for the warm weather season and remember USPS does not guarantee their shipping time.

How long do ice packs last?

Ice packs won’t last longer than 2 days.  Ice packs may not last one day in extremely hot temperatures if the package is delivered outdoors. The good news is the ice packs are reusable.

Are you shipping your box of goodies to (or through) a high-temperature area?

Please arrange delivery to an air-conditioned location (i.e. your office) or arrange for someone to be available to retrieve the package which can quickly be brought indoors. Otherwise, the shipping carrier will leave packages outdoors.

If it's hot out and your order contains chocolate, caramels, or honeymallows there are steps you can take to reduce the risk of receiving melted confections. Following the guidelines below can increase the chance your order arrives in good shape.

We include two ice packs in your warm-weather shipping box. Temperatures 70 and above select at least UPS Overnight. We strongly urge you to purchase overnight during the hot summer months.
